The Vacuum Tempering Furnace is a high-performance thermal processing system specifically designed for bright tempering, stress relief heat treatment, and controlled atmosphere post-quenching applications.
Engineered for both batch production and custom industrial requirements, the system provides excellent temperature uniformity, clean vacuum processing conditions, stable metallurgical performance, and superior surface brightness protection.
It is widely used for the heat treatment of tool steel, high-speed steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium alloys, magnetic materials, and precision machined components, ensuring consistent product quality with minimal oxidation and deformation.
Our vacuum tempering furnaces are designed to perform precise tempering cycles under high-vacuum or protective gas conditions.
By effectively eliminating oxygen and reactive gases during the heating process, the furnace helps prevent surface oxidation, decarburization, and discoloration, making it especially suitable for components with high surface finish requirements after quenching.
The system is ideal for stress relief after hardening, toughness improvement, hardness stabilization, and dimensional correction of precision parts.
The equipment can be configured with nickel-chromium or molybdenum heating chambers, depending on operating temperature, material compatibility, and process requirements.
For applications with large batch loads and lower operating temperatures, optional convection heating systems can be integrated to improve heating speed and temperature uniformity.
The vacuum tempering furnace uses nickel-chromium alloy heating elements, with a maximum operating temperature of 750℃ and temperature uniformity maintained within ±5℃. In terms of vacuum performance, the ultimate vacuum is 4×10⁻³ Pa, the pressure rise rate is 0.5 Pa/h, and the gas cooling pressure is 2 bar.
